Barbara Corcoran

Barbara Corcoran, born on March 10, 1949, is an American businesswoman, investor, and television personality. She founded The Corcoran Group, a real estate brokerage in New York City, which she sold for $66 million in 2001. As one of the original “Shark” investors on ABC’s Shark Tank, she has made 130 deals on the show. Despite facing challenges, including dyslexia, she persevered and built a successful career.
