Laura Jarrett

Laura Jarrett, born on October 29, 1983, is a senior legal correspondent for NBC News. Originally from Chicago, she attended Amherst College in Massachusetts and later studied at Harvard Law School. Laura met her husband, Tony Balkissoon, while they were both second-year law students, and they got married in 2012. Before her TV career, she clerked for federal judges and worked at a law firm, primarily defending corporations and individuals under investigation by the justice department. Laura’s recent debut as the Saturday TODAY anchor alongside Peter Alexander has been a significant milestone in her impressive career!
