Barry White

Barry Eugene Carter, better known as Barry White, was an American singer and songwriter. Born on September 12, 1944, in Galveston, Texas, he grew up in South Central Los Angeles. His rich bass voice and romantic image made him a two-time Grammy Award winner. In the 1970s, he achieved great success as a solo artist and with the Love Unlimited Orchestra. His iconic hits include “Can’t Get Enough of Your Love, Babe” and “You’re the First, the Last, My Everything.” White recorded 20 studio albums, with worldwide sales exceeding 100 million records. He passed away on July 4, 2003, due to kidney failure.
