Brooke Baldwin

Lauren Brooke Baldwin, born on July 12, 1979 in Atlanta, Georgia, is an American journalist, television host, and author. She was associated with CNN from 2008 until 2021, where she hosted “CNN Newsroom with Brooke Baldwin.” Her career began in 2001, and she has covered significant events, including President Obama’s second inauguration. Baldwin’s work has earned her recognition, including a Peabody Award finalist for hosting a town hall on gun violence. She holds a bachelor’s degree with a double major in Spanish and Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
