Eileen Franklin

Eileen Franklin-Lipsker, born on October 30, 1954, accused her father, George Franklin, of murdering her childhood friend, Susan Nason, in 1969. Her recovered memories led to her father’s conviction, but a federal appeals court later overturned it due to errors in the trial. Eileen co-authored a book about her experiences, ‘Sins of the Father: The Landmark Franklin Case: a Daughter, a Memory, and a Murder.’ Since then, the Franklin family has fractured, and Eileen’s advocacy work focuses on child sexual abuse survivors with repressed memories.
