Lupe Fiasco

Lupe Fiasco, born Wasalu Muhammad Jaco on February 16, 1982, is an American rapper and record producer. He gained fame with his debut album, “Lupe Fiasco’s Food & Liquor” in 2006. Lupe also performs as the frontman of rock band Japanese Cartoon under his real name. Beyond music, he’s an entrepreneur, having been the CEO of 1st and 15th Entertainment. Raised in Chicago, Lupe initially disliked hip-hop for its vulgarity and misogyny. However, he overcame this to become a Grammy-nominated artist. His anti-establishment views shine through in interviews and his music.
