Erik Estrada

Erik Estrada, born Henry Enrique Estrada on March 16, 1949 in New York City, is an American actor and police officer. He gained fame for his co-starring lead role as California Highway Patrol officer Francis “Ponch” Poncherello in the TV series CHiPs, which aired from 1977 to 1983. Despite a serious accident during filming, where he fractured ribs and broke both wrists, Estrada made a remarkable recovery. His resilience and versatility continue to inspire fans worldwide.
